Overview

The guitar is the most popular instrument in the world because no matter what style of music you like the guitar can always find a way to fit in. Classical, folk, rock, blues, jazz, metal- they all have guitar!

But the guitar is a challenging instrument to learn. It takes time and patience to learn how to hold it, how to strum and play chords. Sometimes you can get frustrated, but if you stick with it you will learn how to play.

We teach boys and girls ages 8 to 18 how to play in weekly classes, starting with the basics like the parts of the guitar, how to tune it and the right way to hold it. If you are interested in learning, but don't think you could afford lessons or an instrument, then sign up for our classes. In eight weeks you could be on your way to strumming along with the other kids in our classes. Over 500 kids have graduated since 2003. You could be next. Sign up today. There is no charge.
