First Class Graduates


Smile for the camera, and say "Guitar Power"! Our very first class graduated on November 22nd. It was thrilling to see the gang with their beautifully crafted certificates, done in amazing calligraphy by Cindy Pacini, Doreen's mom, and laminated with individual photos by Tina Wong, mother of Kiana, Jacob and Jeremy.

Teachers Carter, Val and John (left to right) were pleasantly surprised by gifts from students that included guitar straps which were personally autographed by each student in the class, plus beautiful cards.

Special thanks to Darren Patton and the rest of the staff at the Excelsior Boys' and Girls' Club for all the help and coordination of the facilities. We couldn't have done it without you! See you all in January --- happy holidays!
