Fund Raiser For GNG in Cobb County - December 2011

Smyrna, GA guitar teacher Bethany Snyder's guitar class held a fund raiser for GNG in Cobb County and raised enough for the chapter to buy six guitars for its next class! Thank you to Bethany and her students.

GNG in Cobb County graduated its second class on November 9, 2011. The class was held at the Boys and Girls Club at the Marietta Sixth Grade Academy. You can view the photos of graduation night here.

Guitars Not Guns in Cobb County, GA Announces Next Class - August 2011

GNG in Cobb County has announced its next class is set to begin September 14, 2011. The chapter will be working in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club program “Boys and Girls Clubs In Schools” at the Marietta 6th Grade Academy:

Said Ed Mullen, Chapter Secretary/Treasurer: "This is a great fit for us and we’re really looking forward to serving a great group of kids with involved parents."

The Cobb chapter is always looking for volunteer teachers. If you can donate your time to become a teacher please contact GNG. Just indicate that you want to volunteer with the Cobb County chapter.

Guitars Not Guns in Cobb County, GA formed in November 2010. After fund raising and organizing, the chapter held its first class March 21st through April 9th of 2011.
