Our first class was at the Youth for Tomorrow
(YFT) School in Bristow this passed summer.
Eleven young men and woman participated in
our program. YFT is a residential group village
for at-risk teenage boys and girls (ages 11–17)
founded by Redskins Head Coach Joe Gibbs.
YFT provides care 24 hours per day, 365 days
per year. Each Resident receives supervision
from Residential Counselors who work closely
with the resident's parent(s), probation officers,
YFT teachers, social workers and other professional
staff. You can learn more about this facility
at www.youthfortomorrow.org.
This fall we will be continuing classes at
Youth for Tomorrow as well as starting a new
class at the Manassas Boys & Girls Club.
Early next year we plan to begin classes at
the other Prince William County Boys &
Girls Clubs in Dumfries and Dale City.
We’ll have an information booth set
up at the Youth for Tomorrow Country Fair
on October 6th; if you’re in the area
please stop by and learn first hand about
our program.
If you would like to help us expand to other
locations in the county, please contact State
Affiliate President Skip Chaples or Chapter
President Mike Rogers. To find out more about
other opportunities to support our program
