GnG Classes Continue!
We conducted successful summer classes at a new location, the Alexandria Boys & Girls Club Payne Street, and at the Vienna Community Center. This fall we’ll be conducting classes at six locations; two Alexandria Boys & Girls Clubs, the Falls Church Boys & Girls Club, the Sacramento and Herndon Neighborhood Centers, and the Vienna Community Center. We served 74 deserving children during our first year and will be adding many more this fall. The following pictures are of some of the volunteers and students at these locations.

Thanks to Our Volunteers!
We extend our sincerest thanks to all our volunteers who made our first year such a success. Whether your role was in administration, fundraising or advising it was an important part of our program and we are grateful for your time and expertise. Bringing Guitars Not Guns to Virginia was not an easy task and each of you rose to the occasion.
We’d like to personnally recognize those who stood before the students in our classrooms. Each of these people demonstrated the character, flexibility and patience necessary to develop our program and make it work for the children.
