October, 2007 Update:
The San Joaquin County Guitars Not Guns chapter started in October, 2005. This chapter serves California youth in Lodi, Woodbridge, Stockton, and surrounding areas. We have a number of students anxiously waiting to take classes as soon as possible. We have their guitars; we just don’t have enough volunteer instructors. We urge San Joaquin County community leaders, residents, teachers, parents, and musicians to join us in our efforts to provide this incredible youth music program to San Joaquin County youth.
